Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and skilled Handyman with expertise in construction, remodeling, and building maintenance to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for performing a wide range of repair, renovation, and installation tasks across various projects. Your hands-on skills and attention to detail will ensure that all work is completed efficiently, safely, and to the highest quality standards. Duties Execute repairs, maintenance, and remodeling projects using hand tools, power tools, and heavy equipment as needed Install and finish drywall, flooring, cabinetry, fixtures, doors, windows, and trim carpentry components Conduct electrical work including wiring, fixture installation, and troubleshooting electrical systems in compliance with safety standards Perform plumbing tasks such as pipe fitting, fixture installation, and leak repairs Apply painting techniques for interior and exterior surfaces to enhance appearance and durability Read blueprints, schematics, and construction drawings to accurately execute project specifications Inspect construction sites regularly to ensure safety compliance and quality control during all phases of work Operate heavy machinery safely for concrete forming, masonry work, or other specialized tasks when required Coordinate with project managers on scheduling and material estimations for remodeling or new construction projects Ensure all work adheres to local building codes, safety regulations, and industry best practices Skills Extensive experience with construction management principles and estimating processes Proficiency in blueprint reading and schematics interpretation for accurate project execution Strong knowledge of building finishing techniques including drywall installation, plastering, stucco application, and painting Skilled in carpentry disciplines such as trim carpentry, frame carpentry, door hanging, cabinet installation, and masonry work Ability to operate hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and heavy machinery safely and effectively Knowledge of flooring installation methods including tile laying and hardscape construction Electrical experience covering wiring systems, fixture setup, schematics reading, and troubleshooting electrical issues Plumbing expertise from pipe fitting to fixture installation and leak repairs Familiarity with construction inspection procedures to ensure quality standards are met throughout each project phase Experience with restoration projects involving demolition or structural repairs Ability to fabricate custom components using various materials as needed for remodeling tasks Join our team if you're passionate about transforming spaces through expert craftsmanship!
