WHAT YOU'LL DO
Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on facility systems and production equipment, including plumbing, light electrical, painting, repairs, and equipment installations. Inspect, troubleshoot, and monitor equipment and facilities to identify issues, report safety concerns, and help ensure reliable plant operations. Support maintenance projects by coordinating with team members, vendors, and contractors while providing guidance to maintenance staff as needed. Follow safety policies, maintain compliance with
ISO 9001, ISO
14001, and
ISO 45001
standards, and complete additional maintenance tasks to support operational goals.
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
Education & Experience:
High school diploma/GED with related technical training or post-high school education, plus 2+ years of maintenance or hands-on experience; chemical manufacturing experience preferred.
Maintenance Skills:
General knowledge of building maintenance, carpentry, plumbing, painting, basic electrical work, equipment repair, and preventive maintenance; experience with pumps and production equipment is a plus.
Tools & Procedures:
Proficient in safely using hand and power tools, following maintenance procedures and supervisor instructions, and working with Microsoft Office; familiarity with
ISO 9001, ISO
14001, and
ISO 45001
is preferred.
Physical & Work Environment:
Able to lift up to 50 lbs. regularly and 75 lbs. as needed, climb ladders/stairs, work at heights and around industrial equipment, and perform maintenance outdoors in varying weather conditions.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
This role requires the ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, climb, reach, and lift or move materials and equipment throughout the workday in an industrial environment. Candidates must be able to work safely around machinery, use maintenance tools and equipment, and perform duties in varying indoor conditions while wearing required personal protective equipment.
