Job Description
Job Summary The Lift Maintenance Mechanic is responsible for providing safe and reliable lift transportation. This position will be required to perform mechanical and electrical year-round maintenance. May be required to trouble-shoot problems and make decisions on their own due to time, weather, and guest safety. Work independently without direction. Essential Job Functions Summer mechanical and electrical maintenance on all lifts and tows. Drive all types of vehicles. Document maintenance work completed. Winter monthly and daily checks. assist with training of lift operators and new maintenance staff. Take care of daily duties as assigned by the supervisor. Make a list of parts and service needed. Work with lift service personnel. Lift construction projects. Read service books, prints, and drawings. Troubleshooting/testing of problems. Going to service schools and teaching. Communicate with Supervisors/Managers. Maintain the highest safety standards and code compliance for guests and staff daily. Other duties as requested by Manager, Senior Team, or VP/GM Qualifications Requirements Must be 18 years of age. 2 Year Minimum Lift Operations. High School Diploma or equivalent. Must be experienced and comfortable using all types of hand tools. Able to read and write English. Able to lift 50 pounds over your head. Must be willing to adhere to the appearance code of the department. Valid Driver's License. Allow insurance to pull 'MVR.' Must be able to handle multitask environment. Provide Base set of tools (Screw drivers, combo wrenches, pliers etc...) Must be able to lift and carry at least 50LBS regularly (Occasionally up to 100 LBS) Work/trouble-shoot in all types of weather. Must be able to perform maintenance at high heights. Adhere to policy and procedures set forth in the employee handbook. Must be able to work Holidays and weekends which may include evenings and nights.
