Job Overview Provident Life, Inc. is seeking a reliable, self-motivated Maintenance Technician to help maintain our residential group homes and other company properties throughout Jackson County. This is a hands-on position responsible for completing routine maintenance, repairs, preventative maintenance, and improvement projects across multiple locations. The ideal candidate is well-rounded, dependable, able to work independently, and comfortable troubleshooting problems and determining the best way to complete repairs safely and efficiently. Typical work may include plumbing repairs, minor electrical work, drywall and painting, carpentry, appliance repairs and installation, doors and locks, basic HVAC troubleshooting, landscaping and exterior maintenance, furniture and fixture repairs, and general property upkeep. Candidates must have a reliable truck or other appropriate work vehicle and their own basic set of tools necessary to perform general maintenance and repair work. Provident Life will provide or reimburse for specialized tools, equipment, and materials needed for company projects as appropriate. We are looking for someone who takes pride in their workmanship, notices problems before they become bigger issues, and can be trusted to care for our homes and properties as if they were their own.
