We are seeking a skilled and experienced Maintenance Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive practical experience with maintenance related to electrical, plumbing, painting, drywall repair, and appliance installation/repair. This role involves splitting time between two properties in Sandy. A reliable personal vehicle and willingness to drive is required.Responsibilities:
Prioritize, manage, and perform general maintenance service requests to meet deadlines Address routine maintenance concerns, including minor repairs and general upkeep Perform painting and drywall repairs efficiently and professionally Inspect property grounds to maintain curb appeal Recognize and address safety issues and perform necessary corrective measures Respond promptly to resident service requests with exceptional customer service Maintain detailed records of repairs and maintenance activities Monitor maintenance parts and equipment inventory Comply with health and safety laws to protect residents and team membersQualifications:
Experience in building maintenance or related field required Some college and/or technical coursework preferred; HS Diploma or GED required Valid driver's license Reliable personal vehicle and auto insurance Knowledge of and troubleshooting skills with plumbing, electrical, appliance repairs, carpentry, and mechanical systems Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a customer-first attitude Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively Ability to bend, stretch, twist, walk continuously, and access restricted spaces Ability to lift or move up to 75 poundsJob Type:
Full-Time Pay:
$27.00 per hour (depending on experience) Expected hours: 40 per weekSchedule:
5 days a week, floating between two properties; both located in Sandy, OR; on-call rotation required (one week every approx. three weeks after training completion)Work Location:
