The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in mechanical maintenance, with the ability to analyze and troubleshoot various systems. This role is essential for ensuring the smooth operation of our equipment and machinery, contributing to overall production efficiency. Duties Perform routine maintenance and repairs on machinery and equipment within the manufacturing facility. Analyze mechanical issues and implement effective solutions to minimize downtime. Fabricate parts as needed using welding techniques and other fabrication methods. Operate scissor lifts and other equipment safely while performing maintenance tasks. Utilize logic controllers for troubleshooting and repairs of automated systems. Conduct inspections using tools such as ammeters to ensure proper functioning of electrical systems. Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities through a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS). Work collaboratively with team members to uphold safety standards and promote a positive work environment. Experience Proven experience in a maintenance role within a manufacturing environment is preferred. Strong knowledge of hydraulics and mechanical systems is essential. Familiarity with customer service principles, as interaction with team members and other departments may be required. Ability to analyze problems logically and devise practical solutions efficiently. Experience in welding and fabrication techniques is highly desirable. Proficiency in operating scissor lifts and understanding of logic controllers will be beneficial.
