Job Summary

A Facilities Maintenance Technician is responsible for ensuring that buildings and their systems remain safe, functional, and in good repair. This includes performing routine inspections, preventive maintenance, and repairs across a variety of systems such as HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and structural components.

Routine Maintenance & Repairs:

Conduct inspections and perform maintenance on building systems including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical systems. Tasks may include replacing filters, repairing leaks, and troubleshooting equipment malfunctions

Facility Monitoring:

Ensure the facility remains clean, secure, and compliant with safety standards. Monitor lighting, fire alarms, and other safety systems

General Support:

Assist with moving furniture, setting up workspaces, and coordinating with vendors for specialized repairs

Documentation & Reporting:

Maintain logs of maintenance activities, report issues, and track inventory of tools and supplies

Required Skills & Abilities:

Basic knowledge of tools and repair techniques

Ability to read blueprints and schematics

Strong problem-solving and time management skills

Physical stamina and manual dexterity

Familiarity with safety protocols and building codes Maintenance and Repair Workers, General

Compensation

$24.00 to $29.00 per Hour
