Preferred Tuesday-Saturday, 2:30 PM-11:00 PM, or Monday-Friday, 2:30 PM-11:00 PM. Overtime may be required. We are willing to be flexible for a strong candidate who can work swing shift. About the Opportunity Express Employment Professionals is recruiting for a leading manufacturing client in Wilsonville, Oregon seeking an experienced Maintenance Mechanic II to join their maintenance team on a temporary basis. This position is ideal for an independent problem solver who can diagnose and repair a wide variety of production equipment issues. The successful candidate will have strong troubleshooting skills and experience working with complex manufacturing machinery in a fast-paced production environment. Key Responsibilities Follow all safety policies and procedures, including Lockout/Tagout (LOTO), arc flash safety, and stop-work authority. Troubleshoot, repair, and install production machinery and supporting systems. Respond to equipment breakdowns and perform emergency repairs to minimize downtime. Complete preventive maintenance tasks and documentation accurately and on schedule. Assist with spare parts inventory management, including identifying, ordering, and tracking replacement components and supplies. Collaborate effectively with maintenance, production, and other departments to achieve operational goals. Communicate clearly through written, verbal, and visual methods. Maintain quality and compliance standards while supporting manufacturing operations. Required Qualifications High School Diploma or GED required. Minimum of 3-5 years of experience performing advanced troubleshooting and repairs on 24/7 production equipment. Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting abilities. Demonstrated problem-solving skills and commitment to supporting production operations. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining high standards of performance and attention to detail. Experience using computer-based systems in a network environment.

Working knowledge of:

Microsoft Windows Microsoft Word Microsoft Excel Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) Preferred Qualifications Experience troubleshooting and repairing PLC-controlled equipment. Computer and software troubleshooting experience. Experience using CAD software to review or edit drawings and schematics. Knowledge of Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) methodologies.
