Overview Join our team as a Sign Installer and play a vital role in bringing visual communications to life! In this energetic position, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing a variety of signage systems, ensuring they are safe, functional, and visually appealing. Your mechanical aptitude, technical proficiency, and attention to detail will drive successful project completions and customer satisfaction. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work with diverse signage projects, from small storefront signs to large-scale digital displays, all while honing your skills in electrical diagnostics, interpreting technical drawings, and operating heavy equipment. Duties Install a wide range of signage including illuminated signs, digital displays, and architectural lettering using appropriate tools and techniques. Interpret schematics, technical drawings, and installation instructions to ensure precise setup and alignment. Conduct electrical diagnostics to troubleshoot issues with lighting or digital components, ensuring all signage operates safely and efficiently. Use heavy equipment mechanics knowledge to operate lifts, scaffolding, or cranes safely during installations at various heights or hard-to-reach locations. Perform routine maintenance, repairs, and adjustments on signage systems to extend their lifespan and maintain optimal performance. Collaborate with project managers and clients to plan installation schedules and ensure adherence to safety standards and specifications. Maintain detailed records of installation processes, inspections, repairs, and technical diagnostics for each project. Experience Proven experience in sign installation or related fields such as electrical diagnostics or mechanical maintenance. Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience working with heavy equipment mechanics or MRO (Maintenance, Repair & Operations) tools. Familiarity with interpreting schematics, technical drawings, and electrical wiring diagrams. Technical proficiency in using tools such as ohmmeters for electrical testing and troubleshooting. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings accurately to ensure proper installation procedures. Experience working with digital signage systems or electrical diagnostics is highly desirable.
