Multicraft Maintenance Technician - Packaging Operations Ready to keep a world-class packaging facility running at its best? Imagine stepping onto the floor of our Atglen Container Facility as the 3rd shift begins. You take a quick safety pause, then move from line to line—measuring wear, checking positions, lubricating components, and listening for the slightest change in vibration or sound. A conveyor stops? You're on it. You consult the manual, trace the fault through electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, or steam systems, and if needed, loop in a vendor or subcontractor to finish the job right. Before shift's end, you log precise maintenance records and brief your supervisor and teammates so the next crew starts strong.

Execute preventive maintenance:

lubrication, wear measurement, position verification, and component repositioning while monitoring for abnormal noise or vibration. Respond to emergency and breakdown situations to support production continuity. Use equipment manuals and technical literature to guide diagnostics and repairs. Engage vendors and subcontractors when specialized support is required. Employ measurement and test instruments with accuracy. Install and repair electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and steam systems. Operate the boiler safely and sustain proper steam pressure. Produce complete, accurate maintenance records and associated paperwork. Troubleshoot systematically, collaborate as a teammate, and keep supervision updated on issues and unusual conditions.
