Job Description
Job Description and Duties Must adhere to and ensure safety policies are followed at all times; 100% tie-off is mandatory. Installs, erects, maintains, repairs, removes antenna systems of various types. Must be able to climb towers, monopoles and other similar type structures to various heights. Assemble and install antennas, mounts and supporting components. Adjust antennas as needed for proper operation. Install or replace coax cable, waveguide and other transmission lines as needed. Troubleshoot and maintain various types of coax, elliptical waveguide and grounding systems. Performs other responsibilities and jobs associated with this position. Minimum High School graduate or equivalent GED Minimum one year of Tower Climbing Experience is preferred. Must have experience interacting with customers and problem resolution Effective written and oral communication skills in the English language for safety reasons Must be able to maintain composure in a demanding work environment Must be able to learn mechanical installation actions and related activities. Must possess a valid driver's license and a good driver history. Must be able to pass a Certification for Competent Climber Training. Must be able to obtain OSHA Construction 10 HR Safety Training card issued by the US Department of Labor Must be able to obtain First Aid and CPR certification Must be able to pass a pre-employment, post-offer drug test. Must be able to complete a climbing test at interview if needed.
