We are seeking a dependable and eager-to-learn Entry-Level Maintenance Helper to join our team. In this role, you will work alongside our maintenance technicians to support day-to-day repairs, routine upkeep, and facility projects. Key Responsibilities
General Maintenance Support:
Assist with routine mechanical, electrical, and plumbing repairs throughout the facility.
Tool & Equipment Handling:
Safely operate basic hand tools and power tools; accurately measure and mark materials using a tape measure.
Record Keeping & Time Tracking:
Accurately complete and maintain daily timesheets and work order updates.
Facility Upkeep:
Help keep work areas, tools, and maintenance shop clean, organized, and stocked.
Basic Administrative Tasks:
Use basic computer applications to log time, check email, or view work requests.
Qualifications & Skills
Required:
Basic Skills:
Fundamental knowledge of basic mechanical, electrical, and plumbing concepts.
Tool Proficiency:
Familiarity with basic hand tools and the ability to accurately read a tape measure.
Computer Literacy:
Basic computer skills (entry-level data entry, email, or digital timesheets).
Work Ethic:
Strong attention to detail, reliability, and willingness to follow safety guidelines and instructions.
Preferred (Plus, but not required):
High school diploma or GED.
Prior experience in trade school, vocational training, or general labor.
Physical Requirements & Working Conditions
Ability to stand, walk, bend, lift, and carry tools or materials as needed.
Comfortable working in various physical environments (indoor/outdoor) alongside technical staff.
