$30•32/hr. The Maintenance Technician supports production operations by troubleshooting, maintaining, and repairing manufacturing equipment in a high-volume packaging environment. This role requires strong electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical aptitude, along with a team-first mindset and a commitment to safety, quality, and production standards.
Job Duties :
Perform all production-related maintenance tasks in accordance with safety, housekeeping, quality, and production standards. Troubleshoot plant equipment including electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems. Operate production equipment including packaging equipment and blow molding machines (EBM and SBM), including startup and shutdown. Complete preventative maintenance as required. Perform fabrication, installation, and repair projects on the production floor. Maintain GMP and housekeeping standards in assigned areas. Communicate effectively with coworkers and leadership during shift changes regarding safety, maintenance, quality, and production issues. Complete end-of-line documentation including work orders, maintenance database entries, and purchase orders. Follow work instructions and complete assigned tasks at required quality and production rates. Support building maintenance as needed. Maintain a clean, safe, and functional work area. Coach and oversee technical personnel and assigned projects when required.
Qualifications :
GED or equivalent required. Ability to work on hydraulic, electrical, pneumatic, and mechanical equipment. Ability to read and interpret prints. Experience with blow molding machines (SBM and EBM) preferred. Packaging equipment experience a plus. Plastics manufacturing experience preferred but not required. Ability to work 12-14 hour shifts, rotating shifts (7am-7pm or 7pm-7am), and overtime as needed. Ability to attend meetings as required, including off-shift.
