Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Maintenance Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our facilities through effective maintenance and repair tasks. This role requires a proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team. The Maintenance Technician will play a crucial role in maintaining the safety, functionality, and aesthetics of our facilities. Responsibilities Maintain and Operate facilities and on hill equipment Troubleshoot and resolve issues with equipment and systems. Conduct inspections of facilities to identify potential problems and ensure compliance with safety standards. Supervise maintenance projects and coordinate with other staff as necessary. Execute tasks to maintain the appearance of facilities. Operate tools and equipment safely, including welders and ohmmeters, to perform necessary repairs. Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and report any significant issues to management. Foster a culture of collaboration and teamwork. Experience Proven experience in facilities maintenance or a related field is preferred. Knowledge of Basic Power and Hand Tools Ability to work outside for extended periods in adverse weather conditions Ability to work at heights in all weather conditions Knowledge of Ski Area operations and terminology (Preferred but not required) Knowledge of Electricity and Circuits including Low Voltage, Single Phase, 3-Phase High Voltage, DC Motors and Pumps (Preferred but not required) Welding and Metalworking Skills (Preferred but not required) Ability to operate
