Maintenance Technician - Claremont Nursing & Rehabilitation Center (Carlisle, PA) Claremont Nursing & Rehabilitation Center is seeking a dependable, skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team. This role is essential in ensuring a safe, comfortable, and well-maintained environment for our residents and staff. Position Summary The Maintenance Technician is responsible for the general maintenance, repair, and upkeep of the facility, preventative maintenance, and safety compliance. The ideal candidate is reliable, detail-oriented, and experienced working in healthcare or residential settings. Key Responsibilities Perform routine and preventative maintenance on HVAC systems, including troubleshooting and minor repairs Complete general building maintenance, including electrical, plumbing, carpentry, painting, and minor repairs Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergency repair needs Conduct regular safety inspections and report hazards or needed repairs Maintain proper documentation of maintenance activities Ensure compliance with state, federal, and facility safety regulations Work collaboratively with administration, nursing, and outside vendors as needed Qualifications HVAC experience preferred but not required Previous maintenance experience in a healthcare, nursing facility, or residential setting preferred Working knowledge of building systems, including electrical, plumbing, and mechanical Ability to prioritize tasks and work independently Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail Reliable attendance and strong work ethic Physical Requirements Ability to lift up to 50 pounds Ability to stand, walk, bend, and climb as required for maintenance duties What We Offer Competitive pay based on experience Health Insurance Paid Time Off and Holidays 401k Supportive and team-oriented work environment Opportunity to make a meaningful impact in a resident-centered setting If you are a dependable Maintenance Technician looking to join a caring and professional healthcare team, we encourage you to apply.
