Maintenance Mechanic Facilities Management Location:
Enola, PA Hampden Medical Center Schedule:
Monday Friday, 40 hours/week
Position Type:
Full-Time Position Overview Seeking a Maintenance Mechanic to perform preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on facility systems and mechanical equipment. Work may include mechanical, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, carpentry, and general building maintenance. Responsibilities Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on facility equipment and systems. Troubleshoot and repair motors, pumps, fans, compressors, engines, bearings, belts, valves, and other mechanical components. Perform minor electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and carpentry repairs. Repair automated doors and related equipment. Diagnose equipment issues using meters, gauges, and testing instruments. Read blueprints, schematics, wiring diagrams, and equipment specifications. Respond to maintenance requests and facility emergencies. Complete work orders and document parts/materials used. Assist contractors and other skilled trades as needed. Required Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent. Mechanical or skilled-trades training. 1+ year of hands-on mechanical/equipment repair experience. Valid driver's license. Strong mechanical troubleshooting skills. Ability to read technical instructions, diagrams, and schematics. Preferred Experience 5+ years of mechanical maintenance or facilities experience. Electrical, plumbing, and HVAC repair. Building Automation Systems (BAS) and CMMS. Forklifts, bucket trucks, high lifts, or similar equipment. Conveyor, pneumatic tube, diesel/natural gas engine, or medical equipment repair experience.
