Advanced Electrical. Hydraulics. Pneumatics. Drives. Predictive Maintenance. If troubleshooting complex manufacturing equipment is where you do your best work, we want to talk to you. Accuride is looking for an experienced Maintenance Technician to join our Erie, PA manufacturing team. This is not a basic maintenance role. You'll work hands-on with large-scale manufacturing equipment and complex electrical and mechanical systems, helping diagnose failures, improve equipment reliability, and keep production running safely and efficiently. What You'll Work On Your technical environment will include: Robotic systems Advanced industrial electrical systems Hydraulic and pneumatic systems Drives and gearboxes Conveyors Pumps, piping, and valves Air compressors Chillers and heat exchangers Filters and strainers Fluid and lubrication systems Large manufacturing and production equipment [ You'll use electrical schematics, blueprints, technical procedures, service manuals, and work orders to diagnose equipment problems and complete repairs. What You'll Do Troubleshoot. Diagnose. Repair. Improve. Prevent. You'll play an important role in keeping our manufacturing operations running by: Troubleshooting and repairing complex electrical and mechanical production equipment Performing preventive and predictive maintenance Diagnosing equipment failures and identifying solutions Supporting installation and startup of new equipment Improving equipment efficiency, capability, and reliability Reviewing and interpreting electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical documentation Identifying recurring equipment issues and recommending continuous improvements Supporting maintenance operations to help effectively utilize equipment, materials, and resources Sharing technical knowledge and helping develop maintenance capabilities across the team Promoting safe work practices and supporting plant safety initiatives What You'll Bring We're looking for an experienced industrial maintenance professional with strong electrical AND mechanical troubleshooting capabilities.
Qualifications include:
5+ years of hands-on industrial maintenance experience Strong electrical and mechanical troubleshooting skills Experience diagnosing and repairing production machinery and electrical systems Knowledge of advanced electricity, robotics, mechanical equipment repair, fluid systems, and lubrication systems Experience with new equipment installation Understanding of OSHA, JIC, ANSI, NEMA, and National Electrical Code requirements Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and decision-making skills Ability to manage multiple maintenance projects and priorities Two-year technical degree desired; bachelor's degree is a plus Previous experience in a unionized manufacturing environment is also desired When Production Has a Problem, You Help Find the Solution Great Maintenance Technicians don't just replace parts.
