Job Description
Distribution Center is seeking a Maintenance Technician for 2nd shift at our DICK'S Sporting Goods distribution center. In this on-site role, you will troubleshoot, repair, and perform preventive maintenance on conveyors, material-handling equipment, and building systems to keep operations running safely and efficiently. You'll respond to breakdowns, document work, and partner closely with operations in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment that emphasizes safety, respect, and growth opportunities within a nationwide logistics network. Responsibilities Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on conveyors, material-handling equipment, and facility systems Troubleshoot mechanical and basic electrical issues to minimize downtime Respond to equipment breakdowns and complete timely repairs during 2nd shift Follow all safety, lockout/tagout, and OSHA standards in a busy distribution environment Inspect, document, and track maintenance work using logs or CMMS tools Collaborate with operations teams to prioritize work and support throughput goals Assist with installation, adjustment, and testing of new equipment or system upgrades Maintain tools, parts, and work areas in a clean, organized, and safe condition Required Skills Industrial equipment maintenance Conveyor system repair Electrical troubleshooting Mechanical troubleshooting Preventive maintenance PLC basics Hydraulics and pneumatics Welding and fabrication Safety and LOTO procedures Blueprints and schematics reading
