Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician to support safe, reliable, and efficient manufacturing operations. This position is responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, maintaining, installing, and improving production equipment and facility systems. The ideal candidate has strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills and hands-on experience with hydraulic and pneumatic systems, Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs), motor controls, 480V electrical systems, bearings, and preventive maintenance . Welding and fabrication experience is a plus. This is a hands-on role that plays a critical part in minimizing equipment downtime, improving reliability, supporting production, and maintaining a safe work environment. Key Responsibilities Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain hydraulic and pneumatic systems and controls. Diagnose and repair electrical equipment, motors, VFDs, motor controls, drives, and control circuits up to 480V. Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic equipment failures to minimize production downtime. Inspect, replace, align, and lubricate bearings and other rotating equipment components. Perform preventive maintenance (PM) according to established schedules. Install, adjust, test, and commission machinery and equipment. Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, technical manuals, and technical drawings. Perform root cause analysis (RCA) on equipment failures and implement corrective actions to prevent recurring problems. Use hand tools, power tools, and precision measuring instruments safely and effectively. Complete work orders and maintain accurate maintenance records. Respond promptly to equipment breakdowns and provide maintenance support to production. Follow all safety policies and procedures, including Lockout/Tagout (LOTO). Assist with equipment installations, upgrades, modifications, and facility improvement projects. Identify and recommend opportunities to improve equipment reliability, preventive maintenance programs, and operational efficiency. Work collaboratively with production and other maintenance team members to resolve equipment issues. Required Qualifications High school diploma or GED required; technical training or education preferred. Previous experience in industrial maintenance, manufacturing, or a related field . Working knowledge of hydraulic and pneumatic systems. Experience troubleshooting VFDs, motor controls, and 480V electrical systems. Experience with bearing replacement, alignment, and lubrication. Knowledge and practical experience with preventive maintenance programs. Ability to safely use hand tools, power tools, and precision measuring equipment. Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot and repair industrial machinery and equipment. Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings. Strong mechanical aptitude and electrical troubleshooting skills. Strong problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills. Commitment to workplace safety and safe maintenance practices. Preferred Qualifications PLC troubleshooting experience. Experience using CMMS maintenance software. Welding and light fabrication experience. Industrial maintenance certifications. Technical school training or an associate degree in industrial maintenance, electrical, mechanical, or a related field.
