40.0 Responsibilities- Perform troubleshooting, maintenance repairs, and preventive maintenance for all equipment and facilities.
- Assist production as needed to ensure smooth operations.
- Maintain the maintenance shop area in a neat and organized manner.
- Monitor and maintain all production, support, and auxiliary equipment, including setup of molds and recording maintenance activities.
- Understand and interpret electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and mechanical drawings and specifications; troubleshoot PLC (Programmable Logic Controls) systems.
- Work with live and low/high voltage electrical systems in accordance with OSHA and NFPA 70 standards.
- Conduct daily, weekly, and monthly preventative maintenance on production equipment and building systems.
- Collaborate with departments to maximize efficiency and minimize downtime.
- Check all machines, robots, and auxiliary equipment for safe and efficient operation.
- Assist in setting up new or special equipment, automation, and robots.
- Organize and maintain inventory of spare parts and notify the Maintenance Manager when replacements are needed.
- Understand basic hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical principles and read relevant prints.
- Ensure all mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic safeties comply with OSHA and other regulations.
- Keep shop and work areas clean per company policies. Requirements
- High School Diploma or Equivalent.
- Maintenance/Mechanical Experience.
- Ability to troubleshoot electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and mechanical systems.
- Knowledge of PLC systems and electrical safety procedures.
- Strong organizational skills for inventory management.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications.
