Job Description

Orbach Affordable Management is seeking a Maintenance Technician to join our diverse and inclusive team at a 150-unit affordable housing community in Lock Haven, PA. This hands-on role is ideal for a team player who takes pride in maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for residents. You will perform general custodial, janitorial, and perform basic maintenance tasks.
Key Responsibilities:
Complete daily work orders efficiently and accurately Maintain a clean and safe environment, including common areas, laundry rooms, and outdoor spaces Perform basic maintenance tasks (e.g., changing light bulbs and filters, adjusting thermostats) Assist with apartment make-readies and vacancy prep Operate snow removal equipment during winter months (shovels, snow blowers, etc.) Support the maintenance team with other assigned tasks Maintain a positive, team-oriented attitude and provide excellent service to residents
Qualifications:
Hands-on experience in building or apartment maintenance required Background in construction or carpentry is a plus Working knowledge of carpentry, plumbing, and light electrical work Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and stand for extended periods Able to work in all weather conditions Experience of operating lawn care and snow removal equipment Professional and respectful communication skills with staff and residents Strong focus on safety and adherence to safety protocols

$20.00 - $22.00 per hour
