Position Summary For more than 80 years, we've led the charge in revolutionizing pet food production and its ability to enrich the lives of pets everywhere. As a Maintenance Technician (Electro-Mechanic), your role is to manage the preventative and predictive maintenance to improve the functionality and safe working order of our manufacturing equipment and machinery. You will handle projects that span the electrical, mechanical, and automation maintenance challenges. This position will be scheduled for an off shift (2nd or 3rd shift). Assist in daily maintenance operations of the plant as scheduled in a proper, timely, and safe manner Troubleshoot and repair plant systems including mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and instrumentation Ability to operate, maintain, and install all shop equipment Repair pneumatics, gear reducers, belt and screw conveyors, chain elevators, and packaging equipment Use test equipment such as multimeters, megohmmeters, and process simulators Troubleshoot and perform preventative maintenance and repairs on general plant electrical equipment such as starters, PLCs, start/stop stations, motors. Demonstrate good working knowledge of electrical diagrams and/or circuits and utilize during troubleshooting Must be able to work nights and weekends. Requirements High School Diploma of GED equivalent. 1+ years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing, technical, warehouse, industrial, military, or related environment OR 2-year associates/technical degree completed. Other The approximate hourly pay for this position is $27.28 - $41.36 per hour.
