Description Two Trees Global LLC d/b/a The Legacy Hotel (Monroeville, PA) seeks Hotel Maintenance Technician to:
- Perform routine inspections, preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on the hotel's building systems and equipment to ensure safe and reliable operation.
- Maintain and repair HVAC and mechanical systems to support guest comfort and facility efficiency.
- Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair plumbing and related piping/fixtures throughout guest rooms, public spaces, and back-of-house areas.
- Conduct general multi-craft building maintenance and repairs including basic electrical, structural, and equipment servicing using appropriate hand/power tools and test instruments.
- Respond promptly to service calls and work orders from hotel departments and guest requests, completing repairs with minimal disruption to operations.
- Keep accurate maintenance records and equipment logs, and track materials/supplies used for repairs and preventive maintenance.
- Coordinate with outside contractors and ensure compliance with applicable building, life-safety, health, and pool/spa regulations, maintaining clean and safe engineering work areas.
Must have the following skills/experience:
- Performing multi-craft building maintenance and preventive repairs in commercial or institutional facilities.
- Inspecting, troubleshooting, repairing, and performing preventive maintenance on commercial heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and mechanical equipment.
- Diagnosing and repairing commercial plumbing systems, including fixtures, valves, pumps, drains, and piping.
- Operating and maintaining water feature systems, including pools or spas, with filtration, circulation, and water chemistry monitoring.
- Applying applicable building and safety codes to maintenance work.
- Reading and using technical manuals, schematics, or equipment specifications to complete repairs and preventive maintenance.
- Using a work order or maintenance log system to prioritize and document work.
Special Requirements:
- Must be able to stand and walk for full shifts and perform physically demanding tasks including climbing, bending, kneeling, and reaching.
- Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
- Must be able to work flexible hours including nights and weekends.
- EPA Section 608 Certification (Type II or Universal) required.
