We're currently hiring a Production Mechanic for our 1st Shift (6:00 AM to 2:45 PM, Monday through Friday) at our FDA-regulated, cGMP-compliant manufacturing facility specializing in personal care and beauty products. Responsibilities include:
Troubleshooting equipment and production line issues to minimize downtime Performing repairs and adjustments to maintain peak equipment performance Assisting with preventive maintenance programs and equipment upkeep Coordinating maintenance activities with the Maintenance Manager Following Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMPs) Supporting a safe and organized work environment Collaborating with production teams to keep operations running smoothly Promoting teamwork and helping create a positive workplace culture Following all PPE and safety requirements What We're Looking For We're seeking someone who enjoys hands-on work, takes pride in solving problems, and thrives in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Preferred Qualifications Mechanical experience in a manufacturing, food & beverage, dietary supplement, cosmetic, or pharmaceutical environment Experience working with production equipment such as: Labelers Fillers Tube machines Heat tunnels Wrappers Coders Understanding of current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMPs) Strong mechanical aptitude and technical troubleshooting skills Ability to prioritize tasks and work with a sense of urgency Effective communication skills in English Strong teamwork and multitasking abilities About PhytogenX PhytogenX partners with customers to bring innovative personal care and beauty products to market.
