Job Description

Position Overview Reli Property Management is seeking a Maintenance Technician to support the Rice Pegher portfolio of properties in the greater Pittsburgh Region. ~80% of your time will be spent in Beaver County, and ~20% of your time will be spent supporting the portfolio in Butler and Allegheny Counties. In this hands-on role you will be responsible for maintaining the property's physical condition, ensuring a safe and comfortable environment for residents, and collaborating closely with the on-site property managers and maintenance technicians. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Property Maintenance Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance of building systems, including HVAC, plumbing, and electrical Complete apartment turnovers and renovations (flooring, minor electrical, minor plumbing, painting, and finish work) Respond promptly to resident maintenance requests using our online portal Maintain building safety systems and ensure regulatory compliance Maintain and organize on-site inventory of maintenance supplies and materials Respond to emergency maintenance situations as needed Care for company-provided tools and equipment Collaboration Work closely with the on-site property manager and maintenance technicians to coordinate maintenance activities and prioritize work orders Interface professionally with residents while completing repairs Schedule and coordinate with third-party vendors for specialized repairs and larger projects Administrative Duties Document maintenance activities and property inspections Manage work orders through our online portal system Demonstrate proactive learning and problem-solving abilities Perform additional related duties as assigned by the property manager Required Qualifications High school diploma or GED 3+ years of experience in property maintenance or a related field Strong knowledge of building systems (HVAC, electrical, plumbing) Valid PA driver's license and clean driving record Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in various weather conditions Excellent problem-solving and communication skills Ability to use maintenance management software Preferred Qualifications Vocational or trade school certification HVAC certification Compensation & Benefits Salary & Pay Annual salary range: $42,500-$52,500, paid bi-weekly Paid Time Off 10 days paid vacation annually 7 paid holidays: New Year's Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Eve (when December 24th falls on a weekday), Christmas Day Additional Benefits Healthcare reimbursement Company-supplied work truck and gas Company-supplied phone Company-supplied tools, materials, and supplies Educational reimbursement for job-related courses Schedule Full-time position On-call rotation for emergency maintenance Rice Pegher Capital is an Equal Opportunity Employer committed to creating thriving communities through outstanding service and quality property management.
