Position Summary The Maintenance Technician is responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, and performing preventive maintenance on manufacturing equipment and facility systems. This position plays a key role in minimizing downtime while supporting a safe, efficient, and high-quality production environment. Responsibilities Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on production equipment and machinery. Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems. Repair and replace defective components to minimize production downtime. Conduct routine inspections of equipment and building systems. Maintain accurate maintenance records and work orders. Assist with equipment installations, upgrades, and facility improvement projects. Follow all safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized work area. Collaborate with production and management teams to ensure efficient operations. Work Schedule 3rd shift Full time position Sunday-Thursday with occasional weekends 8-hour shifts On call rotation for weekends Overtime as needed Technical Skills Preventive Maintenance (PM) Corrective Maintenance Troubleshooting Mechanical Repair Electrical Repair PLC Troubleshooting Hydraulics Pneumatics Conveyor Systems Motors and Gearboxes Bearings Welding Fabrication Industrial Equipment Manufacturing Equipment Machine Repair HVAC (if applicable) Electrical Controls Blueprint Reading Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) Qualifications High school diploma or GED required; technical or trade school training preferred. 2+ years of industrial or manufacturing maintenance experience preferred. Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills. Experience with PLCs, conveyors, motors, and pneumatic/hydraulic systems is a plus. Ability to read technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in a manufacturing environment.
