Industrial Maintenance Technician Oxford, PA | Full-Time, Direct Hire | $28.00-$33.50/hour
Schedule:
Monday through Friday, with occasional weekend coverage as needed Scout is hiring a Maintenance Technician for an established industrial manufacturing facility in Oxford, PA. This is a hands-on, plant-floor role focused on equipment reliability, preventative maintenance, and daily troubleshooting across mechanical and electrical systems. What You'll Do Perform preventative maintenance (PMs) and corrective repairs on plant machinery and equipment Troubleshoot mechanical systems including pumps, conveyors, hydraulic units, motors, bearings, chains, and gearboxes Handle basic electrical maintenance: sensors, lighting, breaker panels, and power supplies Respond quickly to equipment downtime and production issues to keep the line moving Complete work orders and PM documentation accurately Assist with new equipment installation, including basic wiring and piping as directed Partner with supervisors and engineers to diagnose and resolve recurring issues Keep the maintenance shop and work areas clean, safe, and compliant Follow all environmental, safety, and operational procedures and attend required safety training What You Bring High school diploma or GED 2+ years of mechanical and electrical maintenance experience in an industrial or manufacturing setting Working knowledge of bearings, motors, gearboxes, hydraulic and pneumatic systems, pumps, sprockets, chains, and valves Ability to identify worn or failing components and complete repairs independently with minimal supervision Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail Comfortable using Windows-based systems for email, work orders, and basic spreadsheets Nice to Have PM and troubleshooting experience on industrial forklifts or mobile equipment Welding, cutting, or grinding experience Background in heavy industrial or manufacturing environments Compensation & Benefits $28.00-$33.00 per hour, direct hire (you're a permanent employee of the company, not a temp) Comprehensive benefits package, which may include medical and dental insurance, life and disability insurance, a retirement/pension program, and paid holidays and vacation Pre-employment background check and drug screening required Work Environment Indoor and outdoor industrial setting with exposure to heat, cold, humidity, and changing weather Frequent standing, walking, bending, kneeling, and lifting Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly, heavier loads with assistance
