Summary of Primary Responsibilities Technicians will be responsible for the maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of equipment and power-operated machinery within the building. This position requires strong electrical, mechanical, and PLC troubleshooting experience to maintain manufacturing and support equipment and minimize downtime. Safety and quality will be kept at the forefront while the employee is working at all times. Essential Duties and Responsibilities (other duties may be assigned as designated): Mechanical troubleshooting and repairs as needed for all manufacturing and support equipment Electrical troubleshooting and repair of all plant equipment using necessary meters and tools Start up and shut down of all plant equipment for weekend and holiday closures Operate and maintain all maintenance shop equipment Daily equipment parameter monitoring and documentation Follow all LO/TO and maintenance procedures Will require bending, crouching, kneeling. Must be able to lift 50lbs. Troubleshooting PLCs. Qualifications and Skills High School Diploma or Equivalent. Electrical/Electrician experience required. PLC troubleshooting and programming experience required. 2-5 years of maintenance experience, with strong emphasis on electrical and mechanical repairs . Experience troubleshooting electrical systems, motors, controls, sensors, and industrial equipment. Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and wiring diagrams. Ability to troubleshoot and diagnose PLC-controlled equipment and automated systems. Ability to use electrical meters, testing equipment, and maintenance tools safely and effectively. Ability to work with basic mathematical equations, including fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions. Must be able to follow all Lockout/Tagout (LO/TO) and maintenance procedures. Must be able to bend, crouch, kneel, and lift up to 50 lbs. Strong commitment to safety, quality, and preventative maintenance .
