Job Description

Role Summary

This role is responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, maintaining, and improving production equipment with a primary focus on injection molding machines and related auxiliary systems. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills and thrive in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.



Main Tasks Troubleshoot and repair injection molding machines, auxiliary equipment, and manufacturing support systems. Perform preventive and predictive maintenance to maximize equipment uptime and reliability.

Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.

Support mold changeovers and equipment setup activities as needed.

Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, manuals, and technical drawings.

Troubleshoot motors, drives, sensors, conveyors, pumps, and automated production equipment.

Perform root cause analysis and implement corrective actions to prevent recurring equipment failures.

Complete maintenance work orders and documentation accurately within the maintenance management system.

Partner with production, engineering, and quality teams to resolve equipment-related issues.

Assist with equipment installations, upgrades, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance on injection molding machines to maximize equipment reliability, uptime, and operational efficiency.

Maintain a safe work environment and comply with all company safety policies and procedures.

Your Profile

Qualifications High School Diploma or GED required.

Technical training, apprenticeship, or vocational education in maintenance-related disciplines preferred.

Minimum of 3 years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.

Experience maintaining and troubleshooting injection molding equipment strongly preferred.

Experience with hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical, and mechanical systems.

Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and technical documentation.

Basic computer skills required. Preferred Skills Experience supporting injection molding machines

Knowledge of mold cooling systems, resin handling systems, dryers, and auxiliary equipment.

PLC troubleshooting experience.

Strong problem-solving and root cause analysis skills.

Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.

Strong communication and teamwork skills. Physical Requirements Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and lift up to 50 pounds.

Ability to work around moving manufacturing equipment.

Ability to work overtime and weekends as needed to support production requirements. #LI-Onsite
