Epoxy Flooring Technician Summit Service Solutions places skilled tradespeople on long-term manufacturing work that keeps shops running and parts in spec. As an Epoxy Flooring Technician you deliver the flat, parallel, and finish-critical surfaces our clients need so production stays on schedule and quality holds. Your work directly supports the shops, the crew around you, and the communities we serve. Performance Objectives Set up and operate surface grinders to hold specified tolerances, finishes, and parallelism on production and repair parts, meeting first-piece and in-process inspection on every lot. Select wheels, dress, and dress-out to produce required surface finish without burning or cracking, documenting setups so the next shift can repeat them. Read prints, routers, and inspection sheets; measure with micrometers, indicators, and comparators; stop and correct before scrap or rework piles up. Keep the machine, coolant, and work area clean and safe; complete daily checks so downtime from preventable issues stays near zero. Coordinate with machinists, inspectors, and supervisors so parts move through grind without bottlenecks or missed due dates. Follow OSHA, LOTO, and shop safety rules every shift; report hazards immediately so the floor stays injury-free. Environment & Resources You report to the shop supervisor on first-shift assignments in the West Chester, Philadelphia, Lancaster, and Harrisburg, PA areas. Clients provide the grinders, wheels, and inspection tools; Work is full-time, contract to hire placement with a drug-free site and clear quality and safety expectations. Essential Qualifications Proven experience operating surface grinders on production or tool-and-die work, including wheel selection, dressing, and holding tight tolerances. Ability to read prints and use precision measuring tools to verify size, flatness, and finish. Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and authorization to work in the U.S. If an offer is extended, you will be required to consent to a drug screen and background check.
