Maintenance Technician II - 1st
Shift Location:
West Hazleton, PA Shift:
1st Shift | 6:30 AM - 3:00 PM Be the Expert That Keeps Production Running We're seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician II to join a fast-paced manufacturing operation where your skills directly impact productivity, efficiency, and success. If you enjoy troubleshooting complex equipment, solving mechanical and electrical challenges, and working in a highly automated environment, this is an opportunity to build a long-term career with a growing organization. What You'll Do Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems. Perform preventive and predictive maintenance on production machinery and facility equipment. Respond quickly to equipment breakdowns and minimize downtime. Diagnose equipment issues, replace components, and make necessary adjustments. Install, maintain, and service manufacturing equipment and support systems. Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, manuals, and work orders. Work with motors, conveyors, gearboxes, pumps, automated equipment, and production machinery. Support continuous improvement initiatives that increase efficiency and reliability. Maintain accurate maintenance records and documentation. Assist with training operators on proper equipment operation and maintenance practices. Follow all safety, quality, and operational procedures. Qualifications 5+ years of industrial maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment preferred. Associate degree or technical training in Industrial Maintenance or a related field preferred. Strong troubleshooting and repair skills involving: Mechanical systems Electrical systems Hydraulics Pneumatics Automated production equipment Ability to read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals. Experience with preventive maintenance programs and emergency repairs. Strong communication, problem-solving, and teamwork skills. Ability to work independently in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
