Job Description
Position Summary We are seeking a reliable, hands-on Maintenance Technician to perform routine, preventive, and general maintenance throughout a mall property. The ideal candidate has experience with a variety of building maintenance and repair tasks and is comfortable working independently to address day-to-day maintenance needs. Responsibilities Perform general repairs and maintenance throughout the property. Complete basic plumbing, electrical, HVAC, painting, drywall, spackling, and tile repairs. Replace light bulbs, ballasts, batteries, damaged tiles, and other basic components. Perform painting and touch-up work on walls, ceilings, floors, storefronts, and baseboards. Perform parking lot, landscaping, irrigation, and grounds maintenance. Conduct routine preventive maintenance and meter readings. Monitor and operate HVAC and BMS systems as required. Identify and report major repairs, safety concerns, and maintenance issues to the Property Manager. Coordinate with vendors and contractors as needed. Maintain work orders, maintenance logs, photos, and project updates. Perform general cleaning and property upkeep. Qualifications 5+ years of related maintenance experience preferred, or equivalent education and experience. Hands-on experience with general building repairs and maintenance. Working knowledge of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, painting, drywall, spackling, and tile repair. Ability to troubleshoot problems and complete routine repairs independently. Ability to climb ladders, work in tight spaces, and perform physically demanding tasks. Ability to follow written and verbal instructions. Basic computer skills, including email, Microsoft Office, and work order systems. Valid driver's license.
