Production Manager Job Summary The Maintenance Mechanic/Technician is responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, repairing, and improving machinery, equipment, and facility systems to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient operations. This position performs preventive and corrective maintenance and responds to equipment breakdowns with minimal production downtime. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance on production equipment and machinery. Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and other equipment problems. Repair, replace, and adjust motors, bearings, belts, chains, pumps, valves, gearboxes, conveyors, and related components. Read and interpret mechanical drawings, electrical schematics, manuals, and equipment documentation. Diagnose equipment failures and determine appropriate repair methods. Perform welding, fabrication, machining, and other mechanical repairs as required. Conduct routine inspections and identify potential equipment problems before failures occur. Maintain accurate maintenance records, work orders, and parts usage. Assist with installation, setup, relocation, and modification of machinery and equipment. Maintain tools, spare parts, and maintenance supplies. Follow OSHA, company safety procedures, lockout/tagout (LOTO), and other applicable requirements. Work closely with production and other departments to minimize equipment downtime. Maintain a clean and organized maintenance work area. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications High school diploma or GED required. Technical school, apprenticeship, or maintenance-related certification preferred. Previous industrial, manufacturing, facilities, or mechanical maintenance experience preferred. Strong mechanical troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. Basic electrical troubleshooting skills. Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals. Ability to use common hand and power tools safely. Welding/fabrication experience is a plus. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Physical Requirements Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, climb, and work in confined or elevated areas. Ability to lift and move equipment, tools, and parts as required. Ability to work around moving machinery, noise, heat, and other industrial conditions. Ability to wear required personal protective equipment (PPE). Work Schedule May require shift work, weekends, holidays, overtime, or on-call availability , depending on operational requirements. Safety Pay:

$30.00 - $35.00 per hour Expected hours: No more than 30.0 per week
