Maintenance Technician Job Description The Electro-mechanic I position involves working with both mechanical and electrical systems on production equipment and collaborating with maintenance teams. This role requires performing electrical and mechanical installations, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on production equipment. Familiarity with PLC systems. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to safety and efficiency, adhering to all safety policies and procedures, including the handling of hazardous waste and lockout/tagout rules.

Pay:

$36 to $44 per hour Two shifts available: Second shift - 2:45 PM to 11:00 PM 3rd shift - 10:45 PM to 7:00 AM Responsibilities Perform electrical and mechanical installations, troubleshooting, and repairs on production equipment. Adhere to and promote safety policies, including proper handling of hazardous waste and use of protective equipment. Participate in training for system and machine operation and maintenance. Assist in creating standard operating procedures and related documentation. Attend departmental, production, safety, and company meetings. Essential Skills 3+ years of experience with electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic systems, and machine shop tools. Ability to read and interpret electrical line diagrams, schematics, and blueprints. Basic knowledge of Variable Frequency Drives (VFD) and PLC systems. Experience in running conduit, relays, terminations, and controls wiring. Proficiency in using electrical test tools such as multi-meters and oscilloscopes. Additional Skills & Qualifications Associates Degree in Electro-mechanics or similar study, or equivalent experience. Basic computer skills for managing emails, PM schedules, and work orders. Ability to work in loud, dirty, and confined spaces. Valid PA driver's license with the ability to drive manual and automatic transmission vehicles. Why Work Here? Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $72800.00 - $91520.00/yr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
