Facility Maintenance Technician

•Position hourly range is $25-30 based on the job experience and qualifications. This position typically works around 50 hours a week, which gives 10 hours of overtime each week. So total gross pay could be somewhere around $70-85k per year.

Kyle, Buda, San Marcos TX and surrounding areas Job description: The Tacala Maintenance Technicians provide year-round, ongoing preventative maintenance and repair of kitchen equipment. The technician should be able to work independently and with others, communicate effectively both verbally and in writing, and interact with employees, vendors, and customers in a professional manner. Essential Functions of the job (not an all-inclusive list): Foodservice hot equipment repairs Electrical troubleshooting and plumbing repairs Building maintenance/handyman services Routine restaurant upkeep and repairs Use of internal tracking software More details: Must be able to lift 50 pounds Must have three (3) years of experience with restaurant kitchen equipment and general building maintenance. Must have the ability to travel from location to location - remote field work as needed. Must be able to pass a background check and MVR for use of company vehicle Experience required: 3-5 years Technical school graduate or high school diploma

Skills:

Must be knowledgeable of being able to test and diagnose kitchen equipment repairs using an electrical volt meter to check volts, amps and continuity. Comfort and knowledge of servicing equipment such as hot equipment (like capacity fryers, warmers), and minor plumbing, electrical, painting and handy man work.
