GED Full Job Description Maintenance Technician Pay:

$30.00 - $35.00 per hour Job Summary We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician to join our team in a fast-paced food manufacturing environment. The Maintenance Technician will be responsible for keeping production equipment and facility systems operating safely and efficiently. The ideal candidate has a strong mechanical and electrical background, excellent troubleshooting skills, and at least 3 years of maintenance experience in a food manufacturing environment . Key Responsibilities Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair electrical and mechanical equipment failures . Repair and replace defective components using hand tools, power tools, and other equipment. Perform preventive and scheduled maintenance on production equipment. Perform facility maintenance, including plumbing, electrical repairs, wall repairs, and general building maintenance. Read and interpret technical manuals and equipment documentation. Maintain accurate work orders, service logs, and parts inventory records. Work closely with Production to minimize equipment downtime and keep operations running efficiently. Monitor equipment performance and recommend improvements to increase reliability. Respond quickly to equipment breakdowns and perform necessary repairs. Follow all safety procedures and maintenance best practices. Maintain compliance with GMPs, Food Safety requirements, and company policies . Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent. 3+ years of maintenance experience , preferably in food or industrial manufacturing. Strong mechanical and basic electrical troubleshooting skills. Experience using hand tools, power tools, and maintenance equipment. Ability to read and understand technical manuals and equipment documentation. Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills. Self-motivated with the ability to take initiative and work independently. Strong teamwork and communication skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment. Willingness to work weekends and holidays when required . #
