Job Description

Community Living of Rhode Island (CLRI) is seeking a dependable and skilled Facility Maintenance Specialist to support the maintenance needs of our residential programs. The ideal candidate will have hands-on electrical experience and the ability to troubleshoot and complete a variety of residential maintenance and repair tasks.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform general maintenance and repairs at CLRI residential programs. Troubleshoot and address electrical issues. Complete basic plumbing, carpentry, painting, and other general repairs. Respond to maintenance requests in a timely manner. Conduct routine inspections to identify maintenance and safety concerns. Help ensure residential homes are safe, functional, and well-maintained. Work closely with Program Managers and administration regarding maintenance needs. Coordinate with outside contractors when specialized repairs are required.
Qualifications:
Previous facility or residential maintenance experience preferred. Electrical experience required. Knowledge of basic plumbing, carpentry, painting, and general repairs. Ability to troubleshoot problems and work independently. Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license preferred. Ability to travel between CLRI residential programs as needed. Must be dependable, organized, and responsive to maintenance needs.
Pay:
From $27.50 per hour
