National Investments, an affiliate of the Carpionato Group, has an immediate opening for a Maintenance Technician/Cleaner responsible for the maintenance and upkeep of one of the Company's more than 1,500 units of HUD subsidized Section 8 housing.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Under the direction of a Maintenance Lead, performs general cleaning functions consisting of sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, dusting, as well as removal of trash and debris from the site. Prepares housing units for new occupancy ensuring no visible repairs are needed and appliances are in working order. Performs basic repairs to air conditioning systems including fixing electrical switches, unclogging drains, and replacing basic machine parts. Replaces and treats structures such as showers, sinks, appliances, and building exteriors. Performs basic landscaping functions including picking up litter, raking leaves, sweeping sidewalks, etc. Assists Maintenance Lead with plumbing, electrical, carpentry, painting, masonary work, and snow removal. Works an on call schedule on a rotational basis.

WORK EXPERIENCE

• Highschool graduate preferred. Basic knowledge of electrical, plumbing, and heating systems. Ability to lift more than 50 pounds. Driver License required. At least 2 to 3 years general maintenance experience Pre-employment background check required.
