RESPONSIBILITIES
Including, but not limited to: Assisting Maintenance and housekeeping Daily duties may include changing linens on residents' beds, cleaning and disinfecting bathrooms, washing mirrors and replenishing washroom supplies Responsible for emptying trash cans and cleaning air vents, furnishings, and horizontal surfaces to remove dust and dirt. Excellent communication skills and the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced healthcare environment are required. The ideal candidate will also have previous organizational experience. All other duties as assigned. SKILLS Qualified candidates possess the ability to perform routine mechanical and structural repairs, and a working knowledge of safety and sanitation regulations; OSHA Standards and Life Safety Codes are required. Adherence to the principles of resident rights, resident and employee confidentiality, EEO and ADA required. Supervisory experience preferred. Candidates should show evidence of creativity, organizational skills, and a cheerful personality. Previous experience in long-term care or other healthcare settings is a plus. Experience working with Alzheimer's/Dementia patients a plus. Must be capable of maintaining regular attendance. Good verbal and written communication skills. Must be able to maintain confidentiality regarding employee, resident and company proprietary information. Must have the ability to relate professionally and positively and work cooperatively with patients, families, and other employees at all levels. Must possess computer skills of the type and at a level necessary to accomplish the job. Knowledge of HIPPA, and state and federal regulations. Excellent interpersonal skills for effective communication with patients, families, and healthcare teams. Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
