Job Description

Swim Club Management Group (SCMG) is seeking a dependable and self-motivated Pool Maintenance Technician to maintain two swimming pool facilities. This is a part-time, year-round position with a flexible schedule. This is a great opportunity for someone looking for consistent part-time work with the ability to schedule facility visits around other commitments. Schedule & Hours Days and times are flexible as long as all required facility visits are completed each week. The position services two pool facilities located approximately 20 minutes apart. Each facility visit will take approximately 2 hours Both facilities will typically be serviced on the same day Drive time from the first facility to the second facility is paid Approximately 4 hours and 20 minutes of paid time per service day

2 visits per week Hours will increase as we prepare for and move into the active pool season. Responsibilities The Pool Maintenance Technician will be responsible for: Testing and balancing pool water chemistry Maintaining proper chlorine and pH levels Adding pool chemicals as needed Inspecting pumps, filters, chemical feeders, and other pool equipment Cleaning and backwashing filters as needed Emptying pump and skimmer baskets Checking water levels and overall pool conditions Maintaining clean and organized pump rooms Performing routine preventative maintenance Identifying leaks, equipment problems, or repair needs Completing basic maintenance and minor repairs when appropriate Documenting chemical readings and maintenance performed during each visit Reporting equipment or facility concerns to management Assisting with seasonal pool preparation, opening, and closing Following company safety procedures and pool maintenance standards Qualifications We are looking for someone who is: Dependable and able to work independently Comfortable working with pool equipment and chemicals Able to manage their own flexible work schedule Detail-oriented and able to identify maintenance concerns Able to lift and carry chemicals, equipment, and supplies Able to work outdoors in varying weather conditions Able to travel between both assigned facilities In possession of a valid driver's license and reliable transportation Previous pool maintenance experience is preferred. CPO (Certified Pool Operator) certification is a plus.
