1-day shift technician M-T 6am-4:30pm 1-2nd shift technician M-F 4:30pm-1am (can train during day shift for 1-2 weeks) Job Overview We are seeking a proactive and skilled Maintenance Technician to join our dynamic team! In this vital role, you will be responsible for ensuring the optimal operation and maintenance of mechanical systems, PLC systems, manufacturing textile machinery, HVAC units, refrigeration equipment, industrial sewing machines and more. Your expertise will help maintain a safe, efficient, and comfortable environment for staff and customers alike. This position offers an exciting opportunity to apply your technical skills in a fast-paced setting while contributing to the seamless operation of our operations. Duties Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on all textile manufacturing equipment including sewing machines. Troubleshoot and repair a wide range of textile machinery, PLC systems and more. Install new appliances and mechanical equipment following manufacturer specifications and safety standards. Conduct repairs on mechanical systems, including air conditioning, HVAC/R (Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning / Refrigeration), and other related equipment. Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, repairs performed, parts used, and scheduled service tasks. Collaborate with team members to lead small maintenance projects or assist in larger construction or renovation efforts as needed. Change blades and work on foam grinders. Requirements Proven experience as a service technician with a strong background in textile manufacturing machinery and sewing machines. Demonstrated ability to read schematics, technical manuals, and blueprints for troubleshooting and repairs. Mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in appliance installation, equipment repair, and maintenance operations (MRO). Knowledge of PLC systems. Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly with clients and team members. Construction experience or familiarity with building maintenance is a plus. Leadership qualities with the ability to prioritize tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Pay:
$25.00 - $30.00 per hour Expected hours: No less than 40.0 per week
