About the Role As a Maintenance Technician, you will play a vital role in ensuring operational excellence by maintaining, troubleshooting, and optimizing industrial machinery. You will utilize your technical expertise in electrical and mechanical systems to minimize downtime and drive productivity across the facility. Responsibilities Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems to ensure peak equipment performance. Execute basic welding and fabrication tasks using MIG, gas, and torch equipment to support facility infrastructure. Diagnose and resolve mechanical issues by applying systematic troubleshooting techniques to motors, starters, and machine shop equipment. Document all maintenance activities and parts usage within the SAP maintenance module to maintain accurate service records. Uphold rigorous safety standards, including Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) protocols, to foster a secure and compliant work environment. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement process improvements and support continuous improvement initiatives. Qualifications Required Skills High school diploma or equivalent. Demonstrated proficiency in electrical schematic reading and electrical repair. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks including climbing and standing for extended periods. Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to identify root causes in a fast-paced manufacturing setting. Preferred Skills Completed coursework in engineering or related technical fields. Proven mechanical aptitude with a history of successful technical assessments. Experience working with industrial machine shop tools such as lathes, drill presses, and saws. Familiarity with GMP and SOP standards in a regulated production environment.
