To help us drive excellence, you'll get to: Be responsible for ensuring that Tool & Die and Pressroom equipment is maintained, running, and repaired as required for production. Troubleshoot and repair of mechanical breakdowns of equipment using PC/PLC ladder logic. Troubleshoot and repair of hydraulic and pneumatic systems. Be capable of welding and steel fabrication. Repair electrical components where applicable. Assists other tool room personnel with troubleshooting skills or ideas This hourly role is a part of our Tool & Die Team and reports to the Tool & Die Supervisor.
Required experience:
Associate's degree in a related technical field or High School diploma or equivalent with at least 2 years manufacturing experience. Experience with stamping presses up to 2000 tons, coil feeding equipment, servo transfer systems, conveyor systems. Familiar with overhead cranes and their operation. Excellent time management skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills such as 8D and 5 Whys Excellent communication skills as evidenced in colleague relations, team skills, and have the -ability to interface directly with the customer to resolve issues Ability to work independently, self-starter with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment Ability to use mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic prints to troubleshoot and fix issues. Ability to use multimeters, hand tools, measurement tools, and power tools to troubleshoot and fix.
