Commercial Employees is currently hiring an experienced Maintenance Technician to support a busy manufacturing operation. This position is responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing production machinery and mechanical equipment to keep operations running safely and efficiently. 2nd shift is M-F 2:00pm-10:30pm Starting rate $22/hr. and increases
DOE Maintenance Technician Requirements:
Current, valid driver's license Ability to read and interpret measuring instruments Previous industrial or mechanical maintenance experience preferred Ability to use hand, pneumatic, and hydraulic tools Experience with gauges, indicators, calipers, micrometers, and other precision measuring tools Ability to read diagrams, equipment manuals, manufacturer instructions, and basic engineering specifications Strong mechanical troubleshooting skills
Maintenance Technician Job Duties:
Perform preventive maintenance on production machinery and mechanical equipment Troubleshoot equipment malfunctions and determine the source of mechanical problems Observe and listen to operating equipment to identify potential issues Use precision measuring and testing instruments during troubleshooting and repairs Remove and replace defective parts using hand and power tools, hoists, and cranes Inspect used parts and determine necessary dimensional or functional adjustments Adjust and repair equipment using calipers, micrometers, gauges, and other measuring instruments Help minimize production downtime through effective preventive maintenance Use maintenance equipment, tools, parts, and supplies efficiently Commercial Employees is a veteran-led staffing firm with 7 Pittsburgh offices and 2 in Charleston.
