Job Description
General Maintenance/Facility Maintenance MM Technics
- Prosperity, SC MM Technics LP is German based, tier one supplier to the automotive OEM's in South Carolina.
Position Snapshot:
Under minimal supervision, this full-time position will be responsible for the maintenance of machinery and the facility to include Preventative Maintenance as well as repairs.Responsibilities:
- Read and understand blueprints or sketch in order to build new equipment or repair old equipment
- welding operation (resistance welding, spot welding, set up and operate)
- preventative maintenance of machinery
- installation of equipment
- clean and maintain an orderly work area (5S)
- machinery repairs
- general plant/facility maintenance
- other duties as assigned by plant manager
Requirements:
- High School diploma or equivalent and minimum 2 years of experience
Welding:
2 years, preferred (Spot, Mig, Tig)- Technical training of electrical, mechanical, and plumbing, preferred
- Basic computer and troubleshooting skills
- Ability to work in both hot and cold environments
- Ability to operate various shop tools including power and manually operated wrenches
- Lift up to 45 pounds
