Monday-Friday Description:
We're Hiring! OpSource Staffing is seeking motivated employees who want to work with a leading fencing company in South Carolina. We are a commercial and industrial contracting company that works in diverse environments and facilities, with high standards of professionalism, safety, and efficiency. Position Summary Work as part of a fence installation team and install various styles of fences. Occasionally, long-distance travel and overnight stays away from home are required. Essential Duties and Responsibilities The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following: Prepare area for new fences using hand and power tools. Set fence posts, rails, and lines. Align posts with string lines and levels to verify the vertical alignment of posts. Measure and lay out fence lines and mark posthole positions, following instructions, drawings, or specifications. Dig postholes or trenches, using spades, posthole diggers, or power-driven augers. Mix cement and operate wheelbarrow. Operate drills and other electric/battery operated equipment and/or hand tools. Tie fence to post and rails. Install slats to chain link fences. Lifting up to 75 pounds. Use tape measure accurately. Driving company vehicle and ensuring that all loads are secure. Some travel required. Keep worksite free of debris and equipment clean. Performing other duties as assigned Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities) Valid U.S. Driver's License General knowledge of power tools. Physically fit and good hand dexterity. Physical Requirements Ability to lift up to 75 lbs. on a consistent and daily basis. Repetitive motions including turning of head and torso, reaching, grasping, bending, squatting, kneeling, reaching overhead and flexing arms, legs, wrists, and fingers. Good coordination Operating a wheelbarrow with loads up to 250 lbs. Walking extended distances in a variety of terrain. Unrestricted use of hands, arms, shoulders, upper/lower back, visual acuity, depth, and color perception The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this position. While performing the duties of this position, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to use hands or fingers, handle or feel objects, tools, or controls. The employee is required to intermittently stand; walk; sit; and reach with hands and arms. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move 50-100 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this position include close vision, distance vision, and the ability to adjust focus. The noise level in the work environment is usually low to moderate.
