SignForce is seeking an experienced Commercial Sign Installer to join our installation team serving the Greenville-Spartanburg area. We are looking for someone with hands-on sign installation experience who can take responsibility for projects in the field, solve problems, work safely and efficiently, and complete installations with limited supervision. This is not an entry-level position . Candidates should already have meaningful experience installing commercial signage or closely related exterior electrical/sign products. Types of Projects Our installation team works on a wide variety of commercial signage, including: Channel letters Illuminated sign cabinets Building-mounted signs Dimensional letters and logos Monument signs Post-and-panel signs Interior dimensional signage Vinyl graphics Banners LED message centers Sign removals and replacements Sign service and repair projects Responsibilities Perform commercial sign installations from work orders and drawings Accurately measure, lay out and install signage in the field Determine appropriate installation methods and hardware Operate lifts, bucket trucks and other installation equipment when qualified Install channel letters, cabinets, dimensional signage and other building-mounted products Perform basic electrical-related sign installation work within applicable qualifications Troubleshoot unforeseen site and installation conditions Properly prepare tools, hardware and materials before leaving for jobsites Maintain safe and organized jobsites Communicate effectively with customers, project managers and other employees Direct an installer helper when assigned Complete installations efficiently while maintaining high workmanship standards Minimize callbacks, damage and installation-related rework Preferred Qualifications 3+ years of commercial sign installation experience Experience installing channel letters and illuminated signage Experience with bucket trucks, aerial lifts and related equipment Strong mechanical and problem-solving ability Ability to read measurements, drawings and installation specifications Experience with vinyl graphics is a plus Basic electrical sign knowledge is a plus Welding/fabrication experience is a plus CDL or crane/rigging experience is a plus Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record What Makes Someone Successful in This Position The right candidate should be able to progress toward independently handling an installation assignment from start to finish. Compensation within the range will reflect the applicant's ability to independently install commercial signage, operate installation equipment, lead projects and troubleshoot complex field conditions. Candidates with strong commercial sign experience, CDL qualifications, bucket/crane experience, electrical sign knowledge or demonstrated crew-lead capabilities may qualify toward the upper end of the range. We fabricate and install our products in-house and perform a broad range of commercial sign projects throughout the Greenville-Spartanburg market.
