DOE (Depends on Experience) Job Summary We are seeking an experienced Industrial Maintenance Technician to join our team on 2nd shift. The ideal candidate will have strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills, industrial plant maintenance experience, and hands-on experience with welding, pipefitting, and industrial equipment repair. The successful candidate will work as part of a team to maintain, troubleshoot, repair, and improve manufacturing equipment and facility systems. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Use the CMMS program daily to complete work orders and accurately document issues, repairs, and parts used. Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on: Heat treat furnaces Stamping presses Assembly equipment Finishing equipment Boilers Chillers Compressors Demonstrate strong millwright skills, including MIG/TIG welding and pipefitting . Troubleshoot and repair mechanical and electrical equipment. Perform electrical installations and troubleshoot industrial electrical systems and controls. Conduct machine safety inspections and mechanical testing. Troubleshoot and operate boilers and related equipment. Follow all company safety procedures, environmental regulations, and applicable state requirements. Follow and maintain 5S principles throughout the workplace. Work effectively as part of a team and participate in QC Circles . Perform other maintenance-related duties as assigned based on changing business needs. Required Qualifications 2-4 years of industrial plant maintenance experience. Strong mechanical troubleshooting and repair skills. Industrial electrical experience and knowledge of electrical systems. Experience with equipment repair and preventive maintenance. Welding experience, including MIG and/or TIG. Pipefitting experience. Experience troubleshooting industrial machinery and controls. Boiler operation and troubleshooting experience preferred. Must be willing to obtain a 2-year degree in Industrial Electronics, Mechatronics, or another related technical field. Must be willing to participate in ongoing technical education and skills development. Must successfully pass a Mechanical Aptitude Test and Electrical Test . Journeyman's License is preferred. Education & Training Candidates must have, or be willing to obtain, a 2-year degree in: Industrial Electronics Mechatronics Industrial Maintenance Electrical Technology Another related technical field Company-paid schooling is available for employees who participate in ongoing education and skills development.
