Industrial Maintenance Technician

Position Overview We are seeking a skilled and motivated Maintenance Technician to support operations in a fast-paced food manufacturing facility. This role is responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and improving production equipment to ensure maximum uptime, efficiency, and product quality. This is a hands-on position working with mechanical systems, electrical components, and automated production equipment. •Sign-On & Retention Bonus Up to $1,500•We are offering a structured bonus program to reward reliability and long-term commitment: $250 after 90 days $500 after 6 months $750 after 12 months Total potential bonus: $1,500 Bonus eligibility is based on continued employment, attendance, performance, and adherence to company policies. Key Responsibilities Perform preventative maintenance on production and packaging equipment Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems Diagnose equipment failures and implement effective corrective actions Support high-speed production lines (mixing, sheeting, frying, packaging, conveyors) Work with PLC-controlled equipment (basic troubleshooting preferred) Respond to downtime events quickly to minimize production losses Assist with equipment upgrades, modifications, and continuous improvement projects Maintain accurate maintenance logs and documentation Follow all safety and food safety (SQF/GMP) requirements Required Qualifications 2+ years of industrial maintenance experience (food manufacturing preferred) Strong mechanical troubleshooting skills Basic electrical knowledge (motors, sensors, VFDs, control circuits) Experience with pneumatic systems and air components Ability to read schematics and technical drawings Comfortable working in a fast-paced production environment Preferred Qualifications Experience with PLCs Familiarity with packaging equipment, conveyors, or automated systems Welding or fabrication experience Knowledge of food safety standards (GMP, SQF) Work Environment Industrial food production facility Exposure to heat, humidity, and moving machinery Standing, lifting, and physical work required Compensation & Benefits Competitive hourly wage (based on experience) Health, dental, and vision insurance Paid time off Why Join Us Growing company with modern production equipment Opportunity to work on complex, high-speed systems Hands-on role with real impact on operations Strong team environment Opportunities for advancement Work schedule During the training period, employees will work Monday through Thursday from 5:00 AM to 3:30 PM. After training is successfully completed, the regular schedule will shift to Thursday through Sunday from 5:00 AM to 3:30 PM. Overtime is not part of the regular schedule; however, it may be required as needed.

Pay:

$24.87 - $29.95 per hour
