Description If you're looking for a full-time position and love working with your hands while building relationships, we have a great opportunity for you! Assigned Duties 1) Perform maintenance duties, including electrical, plumbing, dry wall, appliance repairs, improvements, and other maintenance duties. 2) Get units rent ready when they are vacated. 3) Complete sidewalk snow removal for 2" or less. 4) Maintain the grounds by picking up trash, maintain trash receptacles, and pull weeds every week. 5) Perform inspections of grounds and tenant units with the Site Managers and/or Regional Managers. 6) Provide efficient customer service to residents. Position Summary The Maintenance & Grounds Technician is responsible for assisting the Site Manager in performing all duties and functions required for the efficient operation of their apartment and townhome communities. The Maintenance Technician is responsible for maintaining the interior and exterior of apartment and townhome communities. Additionally, the Maintenance Technician must ensure the proper operation of all appliances, heating and cooling units, and light fixtures. People that are successful in this position have: Previous customer service experience. Previous remodeling or construction experience. Ability to take direction from others and work as a team. Exhibit excellent oral and written communication skills. Willingness to work independently while staying on task. A drive to be successful. Understanding of the importance of confidentiality. Must be punctual and reliable. We E-verify!! Salary Description $21.00 per hour Requirements Must have hand tools to use on the job site. Must be able to provide proof of eligibility to work in the United States. Ability to work 40 hours per week. Must be available to handle after-hours emergency calls. Must have a valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and automobile insurance. Exhibit a willingness to use vehicle to drive between properties and to get supplies.
